Activities in nature – biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and more

In the region around Reischach and Bruneck, there are activities galore for outdoor fans: Discover the valley’s treasures while riding on the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley cycle path, which snakes through the valley’s charming landscapes and villages, or by hiking up majestic mountains. And your host, Roland, knows all the best spots and routes.

Golf with a mountain view – Golf Club Pustertal

Golf Club Pustertal awaits you at the foot of Mt Plan de Corones/Kronplatz with a 9-hole course that blends harmoniously into the landscape. The mountain panorama turns every round into a scenic delight. There’s a good reason why this is considered one of the most beautiful courses in South Tyrol, and it’s definitely earned a place on your golfing bucket list. If you’re looking for a challenging 18-hole course, you’ll find it around a 45-minute drive away at Golf Club St. Vigil Seis, at the foot of Mt Sciliar/Schlern. Our tip: Make sure you book a golf cart, too! After a great round at Golf Club Pustertal, the terrace awaits you with delicious food and drinks – the perfect way to celebrate your birdies

Excursions and sights to see – from Bruneck to the rest of South Tyrol

From the Clara, you can quickly reach other famous sights in South Tyrol. These include Lake Braies/Pragser Wildsee with its enchanting, turquoise waters, or the Valle Anterselva/Antholzertal valley, which boasts pristine nature and will be the venue for the Winter Olympics in 2026. The glorious Dolomites are just a stone’s throw away, and we promise you: A visit to the Three Peaks is an unmissable experience.

Looking for something a little different?

A morning at the farmer’s market in Bruneck, where the aroma of fresh bread and fragrant mountain cheese fills the air. A chat with the stallholder, whose family has been growing produce on their farm for generations.

An afternoon by a crystal-clear mountain river, fishing rod in hand, embraced by calm – until the line suddenly twitches and dinner is secured.

Or a moment of maximum concentration during archery: Your fingers pull back the string, your eyes fix on the target, there’s a soft twang – and the arrow flies straight into the bullseye.

And then there are experiences made for couples, friends, and the whole family.

A fast-paced ride on the summer toboggan run, the wind ruffling your hair and your heart racing with excitement. A canyoning adventure, the water splashing and your courage rising. A visit to a high ropes course, where climbers of all ages push their limits.

Some experiences can’t be found in any travel guide – they’re passed on by the people who truly know the region. Roland knows them all: the best markets for authentic South Tyrolean specialities. The most beautiful fishing spots, where the peace is only broken by the gentle splashing of the water. The secret places where the starry night sky sparkles especially brightly. His tips are little treasures that make your stay at the Clara unforgettable.
