How do I get to the Clara?

You can easily reach the Clara by car, train, or bus. Our address is: Via In der Sandgrube 42, 39031 Riscone, South Tyrol. Simply enter “Hotel Clara, Riscone” (or Reischach in German) into your satnav. Free parking is available right outside or in our underground car park.

How far is it from the railway station to the Clara?

The nearest railway station is in Bruneck. From there, city bus 420.1 will bring you almost right to our doorstep.

Can I charge my electric car at the Clara?

Yes, the Clara offers two charging stations for electric cars, meaning you can charge your vehicle conveniently during your stay. You can get the necessary charging card from the Clara’s reception. 

How far away is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is in Bolzano, around 75 kilometres away. Innsbruck and Verona airports are also easy to reach.

Does the Clara have Wi-Fi?

Of course! High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas.

Can all guests use the spa area?

The spa area with mountain sauna and stylish relaxation rooms is available to guests staying at the Boutiquehotel.

Is there a secure place to leave my bike?

Yes, bike lovers will find secure bike parking in the Clara’s bike storage. After a tour, you can look forward to a refreshing shower and cosy beds.

Are there fully accessible rooms at the Clara?

Yes, some of our rooms and apartments are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know about this request when you make your booking so we can ensure we reserve a suitable room for you.

Is there a pool?

While there’s no pool at the Clara itself, as our guests, you benefit from a special rate for admission to the nearby Cron4 leisure centre with its five pools and spacious sauna area. With the exclusive Clara armband for Cron4 , you can use the priority entrance and get from your room to a pool lounger in just three minutes. 

Are children welcome at the Clara?

Yes, the Clara also welcomes families.

Is there a ski room in winter?

Yes, the ski room is heated and offers plenty of space for your equipment.

Are dogs allowed at the Clara?

Dogs are welcome in selected apartments at the Clara Mountain Residence. Please let us know in your enquiry that you’ll be travelling with your four-legged friend. That way, we can allocate you an apartment where your canine companion will feel right at home, too. We charge a small fee for pets and are happy to give you tips for walks and dog-friendly excursion destinations in the area.

Do you serve breakfast at the Clara?

Yes, breakfast is a highlight for our Boutiquehotel guests and offers regional specialities such as freshly baked bread, homemade jams, and cheese from local farmers.

Can I book last-minute?

Of course! We’re happy to accept last-minute bookings. Simply book directly via our website or contact us.

How are the room rates calculated?

The room rates are per person per night. The tourist tax of €3.00 per guest per night is charged separately. Children under the age of 14 are exempt from the tourist tax. For guests staying in the rooms of the Boutiquehotel, the mountain breakfast is included in the rate, as are the Clara inclusive services and use of the spa area. 

How are the apartment rates calculated?

The apartment rates are per person per night. The tourist tax of €3.00 per guest per night is charged separately. Children under the age of 14 staying in our apartments are also exempt from the tourist tax. You can book a mountain breakfast at the Clara upon request and for an additional charge. The Clara inclusive services (except the use of the spa area) are included in the booking rate.

Are there discounts for children?

Yes, children staying as the third or fourth person in their parents’ room receive a discount of 10% to 50% depending on their age.

What time will my room be available, and when do I have to check out?

Your room will be available for you from 2 p.m. Earlier check-in is possible upon request. We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10 a.m. on your departure day.

What are the current cancellation conditions?

The following rules apply if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip:

  • Up to 14 days before arrival: The booking deposit is retained, or 40% of the invoice amount is charged to your credit card.
  • From 14 days before arrival and in case of late arrival, early departure, or no-show: 100% of the invoice amount is charged.

Is there a way to protect myself against cancellation costs?

Yes, the Clara offers its guests comprehensive cancellation cover with favourable conditions in cooperation with EUROPÄISCHE REISEVERSICHERUNG.

The Clara’s location is ideal for mountain and nature lovers. The Dolomites and Mt Plan de Corones/Kronplatz await with hiking trails, cycle routes, and ski slopes, while Bruneck is full of charming lanes, boutiques, and cultural highlights.

Do you give recommendations or organise guided tours?

Your host Roland is on hand every day with advice, support, and plenty of insider knowledge. He’s always happy to share his secret tips for unforgettable experiences in the region. We can also organise guided hikes for you upon request.

Which activities are suitable for rainy days?

There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area, even on rainy days. You can visit the Messner Mountain Museum in Bruneck, the Cron4 swimming pool and sauna, or enjoy a spa day at the Clara.

You’re welcome to add the mountain breakfast to your booking at any time. 

Is it possible to have dinner at the Clara?

While we don’t have our own restaurant, we work together with excellent partner restaurants in the neighbourhood. There are 40 restaurants within an approx. 5km radius. If you’re finding it hard to choose, Roland is always happy to advise you. We’ll also be delighted to take care of reserving a table for you. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy the most delicious experiences around the Clara during your stay.

Is the Clara centrally located?

Our ideal location in Reischach means you can easily reach everything you need on foot: restaurants, shops, the mountain lift, and even nature. Simply head out and enjoy.

What’s the difference between the Boutiquehotel and the Mountain Residence?

The Boutiquehotel offers elegant design and all-round service, while the Mountain Residence is all about independence and privacy. 

Do the apartments in the Mountain Residence have a kitchen?

Yes, every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, giving you maximum flexibility.

Are there balconies or terraces?

Yes, almost all rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace with a stunning view of the Val Pusteria/Pustertal mountains.
